hey guys! i have a beautiful pair of Sebae clown fish that are pretty big (4-5inch) that mate ever 2 weeks in a 55 gallon tank and become aggressive while the eggs are laid. they are the only fish in the tank. i would like to add another fish or 2 but am worried the clowns will not play nice with any other fish :sad1:. whats everyone opinion on adding fish? or a type of fish that the clowns won't badger to death :worried:

Do you intend to breed them? If not, fish that stay in other areas of the tank would be best. Blennys for example might not move into the clown zone. But two fish in that size tank defending a nest will probably make short work of anything they consider an intruder.

are the picss good enough to see? would that make a difference?

no it doesn't matter I was just curious. A profile pic would help much more but...

They look like pearl eye clarki? almost certain they're not Sebae

nice pair of melanistic (black morph) clarki, nice pair either way. Don't be upset many LFS make this mistake, even those who "claim" they know their stuff.

yea i think ill try moving the rocks around a bit. does it look like theres to much LR in the DT? i got room to move some in to the sump?
