Hello,

I plan on picking up a pair of either picasso clownfish or ocellaris snowflake clownfish for breeding, but i also have a Ocellaris clown in my aquarium would it be alright to have my Ocellaris and a pair together? or will the pair kill the Ocellaris?

if i dont get a pair, how can i breed my Ocellaris? do I purchase another Ocellaris but at a bigger size?

recommendations on breeding clowns?

Thank You

I wouldn't keep more then a pair in a tank (( unless it is a really large one )).

So, I would either sell your current Ocellaris, or find a SMALLER one to pair with it.

If you want to breed Picassos and Snowflakes you can.I would assume that the fish yo uhave now is a female,so get a smaller Picasso or Snowflake. When they breed, and you raise them, you will get a combonation of patterns. Some will be higher end Picassos,Snowflakes, and some have clamed to get Platinums or Whyoming Whites. In the combonation you will get mis-bars mabey even full bars.I would just get a Snowflake and breed it with the Ocellaris you already have.

Alright Thank you :)

Remember this: Offspring of snowflakes have the genetic material to become or make snowflakes, but some of the offspring may be odd. I've heard 1/100 offspring of snowflakes are snowflake.
