I've had my clownfish for two years now rising them form juveniles and would like to start breeding them. What is the best size for a breeding tank for clownfish and how do i get them to mate.
What species of clownfish? Smaller clowns like ocellaris will do fine in a 10 gallon as a minimum size, while larger species such as clarkii will need a 20 as a minimum. These sizes also assume the clowns are the only residents.

These guys are right. A rich diet and warm water should spark them if theyre ready. You kind of are stuck playing the mating waiting game as there is no way to actually induce them into spawning that I know of.
