breeding my clownfish

I've had my clownfish for two years now rising them form juveniles and would like to start breeding them. What is the best size for a breeding tank for clownfish and how do i get them to mate.

What species of clownfish? Smaller clowns like ocellaris will do fine in a 10 gallon as a minimum size, while larger species such as clarkii will need a 20 as a minimum. These sizes also assume the clowns are the only residents.

As for getting them to breed, provide excellent water quality and a good and varied diet with frequent feedings during the day. Basically make them fat an happy

Keep the water temp on the warmer side 80-82.

These guys are right. A rich diet and warm water should spark them if theyre ready. You kind of are stuck playing the mating waiting game as there is no way to actually induce them into spawning that I know of.
