Black saddle back clowns, female 4''with a yellow face male 2.75'' not so much yellow
Lay eggs every 12-13 days
eggs hatch at 8th day at night
all hatch in about 3-4 hours
eggs are laid early evening
between 200 and 275 eggs per batch
when first laid they look a bright orange 'after 3 days changing to black
2 days before hatch eyes are visible
the day of hatch eggs look like glitter ,very black with shiny eyes that give them the glitter look
I have had 18 batches now and am perfecting the process
live rotifer culture is a must, fry will only eat live rots
this last batch I managed to keep 73 alive for 3 weeks they are looking good so far
fry will look almost clear for the first week then get black
at the end of the second week the growth is exponential, they are about 3-4mm now
a white stripe is visible at the end of 3 weeks
I have been feeding them a mix of live rotifers and zooplex
the night of the hatch I pull the rock out and put it in a separate tank for the hatch ,the next morninng the rock goes back into the main tank, be carefull the parents go ballistic , I have to wear a long glove to do this

I keep the fry tank covered for the first 2 days and keep a good supply of live rots
I flush the fry tank with the main tank at 9-10 am and again at 8-9 pm and replentish the live rots after the flush
I have 2 hatchings in one tank , the first batch does not seem to bother the ones that hatch later on in the same tank
