Breeding Percs or Black Onyx in a 12gallon nano?

Anyone have a spawning pair of percula or black onyx (or any smaller clown species) in a 12g nanocube? I'm wanting to make the pair the highlight of the tank.

So the mob doesn't rush me, the tank will receive the 1 gallon WC from the reeftank daily WC. Water quality will not be a concern when changing nearly 50% each week.

Any experience of breeding in this limited size? A LFS in Tampa, Fl had a breeding setup with ocellaris that was composed of the LFS style vertical multi-holding tanks that were maybe 10gallons each. Those clowns were breeding with only a flower pot in the tank, so a 12g nanocube should work.

You should be fine with that for breeding - There are many breeders who use 10 and 15 gallon tanks - just that they are almost totally bare, so keep that in mind with regard to the amount of LR and corals you have in the tank.

Only a ric or two, 3-5lbs of LR & ~1" sand.

Yea you are fine you could even go smaller, its more so just water quality than actual size

If you keep up on the water changes you will be fine.
