breeding Q? for nano?

I was wondeering if it is possible to breed anything other than clownfish in a 12 g nano that i am setting up. i would like somthing else and different and that is also able to breed in a nano so yea if u have any answers just comment

Just to have them spawn? Or to raise? To raise, you will need cultures and at least one separate larval tank.

Just to have fish that spawn, many of the small gobies will work out, but they are cave spawners and you probably won't see any eggs. Cleaner gobies, red-head gobies and green-banded gobies spring to mind.

what do u mean by cultures cuz i have never breeded fish before so yea and the nano is going to be 12g and the sump/refugium is going to be 2g so would it be safe to put them in there?
What gobies would do best in a nano tho?

All 3 species I mentioned are very small fish.

If you want to raise baby fish, you will need a lot more resources than a nano and a sump. I suggest reading through some of the threads here in the Breeding forum to get an idea of the scale involved.

im not ready to breed any fish yet and plus i dont kno how to do it so i will take ur advise and research hard and long and make the right decision. and just a question what other resources r needed in order to breed

other resoures?...

culturing phyto, rotifers, baby brine shrimp. At least one seperate tank not attached to your main tank for the raising of the larvae. Heaters, air pumps, nets, lights, additional filtration, patience, space and money are all necessary resources.

Aren't we spoiled? My grandmother waited MONTHS for her Sears catalog order to show up. Recently, someone mailed me something from Hong Kong and I got it in about 4 days. It took *forever!*

lol yea i recently bought my 190 and it took 3 weeks god geez lol
so yea i have patience i mean what 16 year old like me wants to wait around for a tank to get cycled, but i proved myself wrong.
so yea no problem with the time just i have ordered alot of stuff so i dont want to be to overwhelmed with buying even more right now.
