Polychaete worms do not typically require anything special. If you give them decent water quality, any kind of food, and normal temperatures they will quickly fill whatever space you give them. Unless you are going to breed goatfish or some other voracious infaunal predator you will never run low on worms...exceptions would be fanatical siphon cleaning of the substrate as opposed to relying on the worms to do their job.
