First off let me say that im not planning on breeding these any time soon,i just want to have the know-how.
i got a magazine today from a subscription and it has a article about seahorse breeding but its not very in depth and it made me realize that at the scripp's aquarium in san diego they breed them so i thought it must be easy or at least easy enough to do it could i et some info?

I'm doing it, it is not easy, but not that hard either...you just have to be a little more dilligent about food enrichment and water quality. The best advice I can give you is to head over to seahorse.org and peruse through the breeding forum. Syngnathid.org aslo has some decent articles about it.

Get ready to read!

Hey Xaiver, I just noticed that you're in So. Cal, you should look up the SDMAS club - we meet about once a month, and there are a few members that are pretty interested in breeding, and quite a few that have experience with building up tanks (I noticed you're getting ideas for your clown setup).
We're also planning a behind the scenes at the Birch Aquarium, where you can see the breeding setup they have for their seahorses. :)
PM me if you need more info.
