Anyone have more pictures or information on teh plumbing? Im thinking of setting up a breeding station, however do not have the room for all those tanks. I can do 2 10g, a 5.5, anda 55g growout tank. What kind of filters...do all the tanks need to be networked together (for filtration) etc...

So i bought a 46G tank from this older couple, and after three weeks the clowns have begun to spawn. The couple told me that they have laid eggs before, so i knew it was a mating pair. Plus they have their own anenome lol.
So essentially im trying to figure out how to build a really cheap breeding station. Obvioulsy i would max out on the number of fish i can deal with pretty quickly, which is okay until im sure this is a venture that i want to continue.

I think the best route for you, may be to follow what Kathy55g started out with. She only had a couple of tanks, but it would be best to have a look at some of her posts and drop her a PM.
It is very frustrating sometimes, when you have done everything that you can and then still things do not work. So you nned to hang in there for a while before deciding not to continue.

Update Time again.......
Ok, after the last leak test, all the tank bulk heads have been siliconed in place, and I discovered that the drain pipe was leaking, so all of these have been glued together
Was not really keen on that idea, but anyway....
So now we wait for a while and then leak test again. Hopefully this time there will not be a problem, then it can be filled with salt water and what have you.
Quite a few people are giving up marines in the area, and I may just be able to get some mature sand to seed the system with, I hope. That way we may just be able to start a bit sooner. But I will not rush things too much

So perhaps by Tuesday I can have things up an running with salt water too. Yipeeeee

Yes, I know, I am always asking others for pictures. I will endeavour to get some up in the next week or so.
Still making RO water. At this rate I will be abel to get the sump and one tank running with the water that I have made over the last couple of days.
I need a faster RO unit...........
