Great looking tank, if you need help cooling it you can add a computer fan and heatsink to the filter. I have seen ones that are homemade and work just as well.

Thank you. Little pricy option, but if I cannot figure out this temp then I'll have to resort to that. I'm going to get a air conditioner for my room to help and I think I should be fine after that.

The filter shouldn't be giving off that much heat, what is the temperature in the tank?

And if that "chiller" is just a heatsink and a fan then they might as well spit on you because that is the biggest ripoff I've ever seen.

THe temp without the fan I have blowing on it get to 84 degrees! My room gets hot though.

well, i woke up today to find almost all the water in my pico tank gone. sprung a leak so the pico is no more =(

I'm not really sure how it happened but it was leaking all over everything. I'm not sure if I'm doing another pico or if I'm just going bigger with my main tank.

It's a great little tank--just fix it! It's not that hard with glass that small.
You seem to really enjoy it, so just restart. You know you'll regret it if you don't

And by all means, go ahead and start a bigger tank when this one is established--best of both worlds, and the satisfaction of following through on a cool project!

I know it wouldn't be hard to fix but I'm really sick and don't have the energy for it right now. I might just order a shallow 30 gallon and go that route. I already have another bigger tank but I wanna go bigger.
