How did you get rid of the BA? Manually or the did rabbit fish finally eat them? I am thinking of adding a naso to see if it'll eat some. Will a blond naso do the same thing or only the regular naso?
That's good news, Brian. My army of emeralds just can't keep up so I've deciding to try another fish since my rabbitfish won't touch them. Any insight on the naso vs. blond naso effectiveness on BA? Will both eat it or only the naso. I know you'v mention the naso before.
Nice Ultimate Brian!~
Dude the corals in the last batch of pictures have really nice growing tips. Looking healthy and happy, bubble algae dissapearing appears that you've got the tank dialed in man.
Dave, FWIW I've had a Siganus doliatus since April '08 and she doesn't touch any Z & P but he doesn't eat any algae either.
Dude that is really low :eek2: No wonder the bubble algae is disappearing....I have been able to keep my PO4's below .01 ppm for the last 3 months...

Hey Brian or Kenney,
Do you guys have any experience with your rabbitfish eating your zoa's? I don't have many but the ones I have are keepers... Not sure if it's just the orange spots or all of the rabbitfish?
I've heard from a couple people now that they will wipe out your zoa's if you have any.
Sure would appreciate any input....
Thanks!~
I've heard that bubble algae is really good at sequestering its own nutrients, so it can still thrive when you are running a perfectly clean system. Though if its going down on its own (plus manual removing) I think you must have the upper hand.
