With all these weird new names..(tuxedo clown..WTH???)..thought id throw in the newest morph of clown..

The super rare Dirty Sanchez clown (Amphiprion dirtysanchezis)..LOL..

Does anybody have a pic of the "tuxedo" clown?..Any idea who made the name up??

I think "tuxedo" is simply another name for the black variant of A. ocellaris, or at least I have heard it used that way for quite a while. Now a midnight clown (naked black ocellaris) would be cool

the names are just getting out of control. when it comes down to it, they are all just variations of onyx clowns, w. exception to the snowflakes from england.

Not that I want to confuse things, but I think I like the term tuxedo better than onyx. Onyx means black, which would fit the black ocellaris better than the percs. Tuxedo would refer to the black body w/colored fins, like it does with platies, swordtails and guppies.

How about we leave the term the clown has already??..In that case "Orange face clown with black between the white markings but sometimes it has more white than black and also has a black dorsal fin but not all the time" clown..

IN THAT CASE.. Why would it EVER be called Picasso clown???..It doesnt look like anything Pablo has ever done..

This is the famous tuxedo clown as the local place calls it...by no means does this picture do it justice. The colors without a flash are much more intense, the orange glows more than any other clown I've seen in person.

Ok, so dont tell me this "ultra glowing" clown is different thn any other clown out there. PLEAAASEEE!! Intensity isnt the hardest thing to ahchieve..feed them food with Omega III and you have yourself glow and intensity (i used to feed my Onyx foods with salmon skin, and they were very bright).

That clown looks like one of the MANY morphs of clowns out there (i.e Embryo's Jigsaw) and by no means a new variant. They are ALL percs.

i consider that simply an onyx with heavy black.

rodonxy will dev. that much black over time and at 70, ill take his body shape over most wc clowns.

whoever said its 1 in 3000 is diluted. i would question the merit/validity of that statement.

i agree with ireef. shine is just food in general.

its nice, but not for 300.
