bright cokour soft corals

Here's my pink yuma.

Some laminella get nice purple or yellow hues with white polyps. Sometimes labeled as Neospongodes. Green star polyps of course.

Never buy a "Carnation coral" or "strawberry Coral" actually Dendronepthea or Scleronepthea. They are by far the most attractive coral in the ocean but unless you have your own Live plankton farm, you can forget it -no matter how many Joe aquarium store owner swears are in his tank "at home" and doing well!

Churchboy,

Where did you buy that pink yuma? It's beautiful! I also like the purple moster in your gallery!

I picked up the yuma in a LFS in Sacramento. It was a rare find and great price. The only fear I had was that it wouldn't make it, but I've had it going 9 months so I hope it's past that stage. Most yuma's are easy, but the brighter ones seem to not do as well for some odd reason.
