Which one is better for SPS Brightwell Aquatics Coral Amino or Elos Omega Amino Acid?

i think it is more or less based on how much you want to pay. i have herd good things about both and zeo amino's too.

i bought reefbooster form probido and does about once a week and it works good too.

5 drops when I feed.feed 25% wait ten minutes, feed the rest. once they get used to it, the PE is amazing

I use Brightwell's only dose 2 drops 2 x week more than that and I start to get sand algea.

i'm interested to see more responses. Are any of the people dosing the amino running low nutrient systems? Vodka? Zeo? NeoZeo? the 1ml per 50g a day on the bottle seems to be a bit much and a bit vague. I've just started dosing Brightwells CA but am reluctant to put too much for fear of OD. 46 gallon with 2 clowns 4 chromis 1 tomini and large sps collection....not sure what i should be dosing.

I've been using ZEO aa's with good results and recently started switching it up with Warner Marine AA'S I have a heavy stocked 200 with mostly sps and only dose 5 drops 2x's a week.

I run zeovit I have low nutrients haven't reached ULN yet but I run BW's becuase its a lot cheaper than the zeovit AA's.

How do you figure Brightwell is cheaper if you have to add 20 drops/50gal and zeovit is 1 drop/25 gal???

No way do I add that much. If I where to add that much I would have an algea outbreak I started slow drop wise to figure out what where the best resaults for my system. Tues 2 drops wed 2 drops and thats it, any more than that and I start to get sand algea. Brightwell's CoralAA's less than 20 dollars 60ml, Zeo AA's 50ml around 35 and they want you to dose 1 drop/25 gal a day. This is just my opinion and has worked great for me. Might try Zeo AA's one day to see if theres a difference.

I personally thought the Brightwell AA's are garbage. I tried that and am now onto the Elos Aminos. Noticed a difference in maybe 2 weeks. Crazy PE present. I even know a Zeo user who prefers Elos to Zeovit AA's. Anyway, i can tell you straight up that Brighwell AA's lasted me maybe 3 months, where i'm on 4 months with my Elos bottle and still a quarter of a bottle left. The extra initial investment for a better product goes further.

i noe this is old but this is 100% true. i only do 2 drops a week on mondays right after my water change. so far so good :twitch:

i am thinking about using zeo AA or maybe elos hummm

^^^I do the same with Elos AA but 1 drop a week after weekly water change.
