Bringing Back Mushroom Tissue?

Hi RC!

I fragged one of my 'shrooms about two weeks ago (the pieces floated away unfortunately, somewhere in the rocks where I'm not going on a rescue mission), and there are two little bits of tissue that I accidentally cut and they remained on the rock. I noticed this afternoon that each piece has developed a mouth, but since I am new to reefing, I'm not sure how to grow them out.

So my question is will they just fully regrow on their own or is there something I can do to help them?

And I ask because they don't look really healthy, but mushrooms are supposed to be near indestructible.

If theres a mouth just leave them be and they will grow out fine.

Cool, thanks! They are only 1/8" of an inch though, I was a bit scared they wouldn't make it!

hard to kill them imo... that will grow into a new mushroom soon.

Just let em go. I once ordered some green mushrooms online that got lost by usps. Eventually got them a week later. The bags were literally milk white and nasty. There was some rotten looking tissue stuck to the rock so I rinsed it off and figured what the hell, dump it in to QT. Within a month I had a rock with little mushrooms on it. This sold me on their indestructible claims.
