Bringing down tds number

So I dont have an ro/di system and am still buying from an lfs (will be converting soon). I measured my water with my free tds meter!!! and it reads 42. Is there a water conditioner I could buy to bring this number even lower? Thanks!

No. Find a different LFS to buy your water from till you get your own RO/DI unit.

42 is really high, to be paying for it. I get upset when my RODI gives me 4 or 5 PPM.

Is it time for another TDS reading from the LFS poll. Once b4 we gathered water from all the local LFSs and tested there TDS. Then posted the results.

I'll sell you some water, cheap.....my tap measures ~30ppm.
