Bringing home corals

I'm going to Bali next month and was wondering if anyone has ever collected corals to bring home and if so would love to hear how to go about transporting them throughout the airports

Some reefs are protected by law and would end up poorly for you if caught. Some stag horns and elk horns off fl are endangered and carry nice penalties. I would research this first.

I'm thinking more about purchasing from an exporter and how I can transport them home with me on the plane if that's even possible

I would first check on collecting laws/permits. Are permits required on the US side? There are some very large exporters on the island. With no non stop air service, it's going to be a long trip back to the US for any livestock. Bali does have very good to excellent diving. Enjoy the trip!
