i got a few (about 10) of the hairs from an orange bristle worm stuck in my finger. they were promptly removed. is this anything i should worry about???

You get them out of your hand the same way you get fiberglass insulation.
Make a loop of duct tape with sticky side on the outside of the loop and spread out the area of hand or finger and then roll the duct tape loop over the area in a few diffrent directions. As long as you don't push directly down on it the tape should pick it up and remove it out of your flesh.
IME, captive bristle worms pack much less punch than their wild counterparts. I believe it has to do with species and lack of their normal diet in the wild as they concentrate toxins. I once was stung while scuba diving and was in EXTREME pain for 2 days. Like most other things though, unless you have an allergic reaction, its more nuisance than anything.
well thanks every one. i immediately pulled them out with some self closing tweezers i use in my other hobby and i have had no adverse effects. didnt even hurt when it happened i just saw them there.
