bristleworm or fireworm?

6" or so? They do get fairly large if there's enough food around. Usually you just see the 2" ones, so that guy must have been looking for more edible things.
 
I have a foot long worm living near my frogspawn. I usually see him climbing the back wall at night. My tank hasn't been up THAT long for him to grow so massive, but he's not hurting anyone. Keeps the back clean.
 
I know this is an old thread but I think I just saw one of these after lights out. I grabbed my flashlight, both normal and a red one and started checking things out with the normal one first. Saw a bunch of white bugs crawling all over the rocks. thought, that was interesting. Went over to the other side of the tank, and saw this white thing that looks like the worm you have shown. It has a white/flat body with what looked to be a redish end. he was very small. Didn't like the light so he went back in his hole.

thought to myself...whoa! where did he come from????

what else do I have hiding in this tank :) (its only been running for 9 months)
