Bristleworm squirted white milky liquid

I was feeding my coral today and one the the bristleworms slithered out from under the live rock then did something that amazed me. It squirted out a large volume (probably 6 cubic inches) of a milky white liquid. Thinking it might be toxic, I turned the filtration on immediatelt (canister filter has charcoal in it). Has anyone seen this behavior in bristleworms? Does anyone know if what the worm squirted was toxic?

I'm not an expert, but whenever I see any animal "squirting out a milky white liquid", I usually assume it's related to reproduction...

If it is spawn, it should be good coral food, I think.

Mmmmm, sounds hot, got any pics? Don't worry about it, I'm sure it's just trying to make babies. I've got these strange snails in my tank and they are always doing this. You'll probably end up with millions more if the fish don't make short work of whom ever is making the eggs.
