Bristleworm tug of war

Thought it was a neat pic.

I had just feed some chopped up shrimp and a piece hit the sand and two bristle worms and a super nass. snail went right for it and were all yanking back and forth till the bigger worm finally got it. and pulled it back into is cave!

i got a couple big ones and finally got them out except one that is 12 to 16 inches long and big as my thumb.

Why do you take them out?

I was told by alot of people including Bob Fenner, that they are good scavengers and do nothing but good things for the tank.

oh i got tons of small ones more than enough to go around, just don't need a bunch of 12" worms in tank.

Yea I don't think I read that correctly in your last post!!! thats a huge bristle worm! i think that would scare the crap out of me LOL. your right get em gone.
