Brittle Sea Star?

I got some new corals today and I would this guy in the bottom of the bag. I think it is a Brittle Sea Star but not 100% sure. If it is should I add it to the tank? It is about the size of a fifty cent piece. Thanks for amy help.

lucky you! great part of your clean up crew. as long as it isn't a green one, you're good to go. the green ones are known to take fish.

Got lots in my tank,there arms swinging in the current to grab a bit of passing food that may float by...very cool to see and a great CUC member!! RF07
 
Great addition!
Every once in a while, mine spawn and there's literally hundreds of them crawling out of the rock.
 
Lol lucky you. I literally paid $1.15 each for a pile of those last night. 26 for $30. My wrasses seem to have eaten all they could find of the original CUC ones.

Good for you!!
I caught several of these in the ocean and brought them in. I placed some in the DT, some in the sump. None lasted long (2-4 weeks), though I doubt that any were eaten while still alive.
