someone once told me a unasked question is a stupid one so here it goes. does anybody know what kind of broclli i can feed my tangs?

Not sure a kind of broccoli but i read before you have to dunk it in boiling water for a few seconds before putting it into the tank to get anything bad off of it.

Hey, I just read a quick thread about this. Make sure this is not there primary food. If you want to supplement the broccoli once a week is fine bt I would not reccomend any more than that. They said microwave it for 5 minutes but you should try to do a little research first though. Keep feeding the nori primarily though.

use the frozen florets.
Only very large fishes will be able to eat the (frozen) stalks.
Freezing the broccoli breaks down it's cellular structure. Never feed raw broccoli.

I once did an experiment with several types of newly imported fishes. (Large Wrasses, Tangs, etc.)
I offered these fishes frozen krill and/or frozen broccoli florets.
I was surprised to see Wrasses go for the broccoli over the krill.
Remember- feed the frozen (or blanched) florets. Freezing or blanching is done to break down cellular structure- not to get anything "bad" off the broccoli.

ohh thats not so bad then. does it matter what kind of brocli? and then what just hook it in my clip and float it. or stick it to my glass?

I used to use frozen florets primarily to feed my crabs, back in the days when I didnt have enough algae (those days are long gone)
