Broken 6025? Loose shaft?

I got home today from work and one of my 6025 nanos was making a weird vibrating sound. I removed the pump cleaned and the it still make the noise. I tried looking here on reefcentral for similar problems. I decided on removing my other 6025's also to give them all a cleaning. The two good one's had the shaft that stayed in placed and the one that was vibrating had a loose shaftthat came out. When I removed the prop the shaft came out with the prop and on the other two it stayed in place. Is this normal? Is the shaft suppose to come out? Please help me, I plugged the pump back in and the noise is still there. Thanks Mikee68

Well after a half hour of searching I've found out that the shaft is broken. In another post Roger states that the shafts are stationary and shouldn't move or come out. This sucks. Roger, do I have to go through you for repairs or should I call Scott over at Aquarium Specialty where I purchased the pump? Well I here I might as well ask..Roger, my tank measures 48" long x 18" wide x 16" tall. Right now I have 3- 6025 nanostreams in the tank for flow. I like the flow but think I could use more. The tank has all sps with a shallow sand bed about 1.5". Should I just get a 6000 on a control with one 6025 on the opposite side of the tank to create random flow?

The 6000 might stir up the sand bed. I might suggest the 6055 as the flow is narrower, they should be out by April.
