Broken 6045 U-holders

I have been told this is the quickest way to get warranty service. When I went to put my 2 6045s back after their monthly cleaning, I was surprised to find BOTH U-holders were broken. They were both purchased in April of this year from Champion lighting. Also, on 1 of them a new magnet holder is needed because the tabs broke off and I had to super glue it to the magnet, so I'm not sure it can be removed. How do I go about getting the replacement parts? Thanks much.

Newly designed brackets are expected in to Roger(rvitko in this forum who does warranty service) later this week. You may want to try prying the bracket off the magnet with a pair of plyers, usually you can break them free this way.

Shoot Roger a pm, and he will get your issue taken care of.

Will do as far as prying - although I'll probably be doing a bunch more supergluing to put the holders back together until new ones can be shipped :)

You might be better of trying to just ziptie the pump to the clamp for the time being. Just an idea, I dont think the glue will hold well

Actually, super glue works very well for this.

it did not work for me; tried it last night on my broken 6025 clamp and it snapped loose after trying to reinsert the pump and yes i let the superglue setup for about 6 hours before trying to reinstall; currently have a borrowed hair tie from my wife holding the pump and bracket in place....

Have you guys got word from Roger on how to get a replacement?

best way is to send Roger a pm....

Ah, your talking about the C bracket, sorry I misunderstood. Super glue will work to hold the bracket to the magnet, you'd probably need an epoxy to fix the C bracket. Either way, just send Roger a PM to get a replacement.
