A few weeks ago, my 6045 stopped working. I took it out and soaked it in vineger. Upon disassembly, the impeller fell out and the metal shaft appeared to be snapped and started to rust. Also, 2 weeks before that, the tabs on the inside magnet snapped while in the tank. I purchased the 6045 during the summer.
