Hello Roger,
I was directed here by one of the guys in my local group. I'm borrowing a 9015 to skim the crud out of a tank I'm breaking in, but the motor won't run. I tried making sure the fittings were all in place, and I downloaded the users manual. Per its suggestion, I soaked it overnight in s vineagar:water mixture, and then pulled the impeller out of the motor itself. When I did that, I saw this:
It is a little difficult to see in the picture, but it appears as though a part of the rubber lining of the housing has buckled and come out from the side. Could this prevent the impeller from turning? I'm pretty sure the motor is trying to turn, since it gets warm when plugged in, even though it's not pumping any water.
Thanks very much for any help you can give me!
