My brother got a good sized toad stool the other day. Maybe devil hand, IDK cuz I haven't seen it. He said it seemed perfect the first few days with the polyps extended.
He said he didn't think it had enough room where it was, between rocks in the sandbed. So he decided to move it over just a little.
I don't know or understand how this happened, so please don't ask me, but he said he just went to slide it over a couple inches and he realized the "head" came off the stem. He was a little freaked out and said that it was oozing some yellow, not sure from where.
Is this thing a goner? I didnt even have any advise for him, I never heard of such a thing happening.
I'm sort of thinking maybe the thing was already half injured when he bought it since he paid about half of what I normally see them go for for the size he claims to have gotten.
