Brooklynella Help

Hi Guys,
I'm fairly new to the hobby and have a lot of trouble in one of my tanks. It came down with brooklynella.
The symptoms were cloudy eyes, extra mucous, skin peeling off.
I treated with Formalin and then after most of the fish died off I kept for sometime and introduced some new fish, but all the new fish keep on dying from the same symptoms.

I have some old wrasses, a sailfin tang and a yellow tang doing good but all the new fish keep on dying.
Do they build resistance for brooklynella?
What would be the best way to go at this?
Very sad and I might shut down the tank if i dont find a solution :(

Exactly how did you treat the other fish with formalin? Baths, dips, QT? Your main needs to be fallow as Humblefish said. IME eight weeks took care of it. Any fish you introduce to your tank will continue to die unless you wipe out the parasite. Also if you don't quarantine any new fish they can/will bring something in to your tank.
