brought new anemone - is it dying???

Two days ago i brought Sabae anemone, i placed it on a rock with not much currents and it got attached to it. yesterday i woke up in the morning and i saw it on the bottom with something white coming out of its side, i was afraid it was dead and started to broke down in my tank so i took it out and put it in a bucket
it is now in the bucket for two days and it is still the same, the arms looks fine and still have purple tips. what should do? is it deade or not??

I think that anemone is past hope. My suggestion would be not to try an anemone until you've done a lot of reading on keeping one. They are not easy animals to keep. In this case, it might have been in bad shape when you brought it home from the store.

if he's not attached to anything take him out a give a sniff, if he stink he's gone. doesn't look good though
