I was a longtime customer of Allfish Emporium. My question is now that the store is closed, where is everyone shopping for their aquarium supplies and fish/corals???

Thanks in advance.

I have had luck at both elite marine, barrier reef and marine net. I am looking forward to the new place coming to the corner of coral ridge and wiles. My buddy owns the plaza and he told they have a store coming soon

You can go during the week as well. If they get a shipment they will let you in. Just call b4 you had over. Think every day but Monday and Friday

I'm in north broward/Pompano beach area and I love exotic aqauatic on oakland park blvd just east of andrews av.
guys there have been very helpful and prices compared to other stores and online are very low.
Have also been to eco reef on atlantic and didn't prefer the staff there as they weren't very helpful and didn't seem to want to offer any advice to me (new to hobby)
I recommend if your in that area check them out!

I was going all the way to allpets, now I'm going to this aquarium store in coral springs righ by my home. I dont really now the name of the store, it just open, but its owned by an ex allfish emporium employee, its smal but has a lot of everything and it looks great. Its west of rock island and sample rd

Im in the process of moving from Wisconsin to Broward Cty, specifically the Pembroke Pines area.

Im moving the fish across the country instead of selling them.

For general supplies (sand, food, etc) who do you guys like?

As long as my fish survive, I don't plan on buying livestock. I only have a 29g cube.
Just snails and such.

Do you guys do a lot of frag swaps and local private sales?

I checked out the FMAS site, but did not see a forum over there.

Thanks in advance!

There are a lot of choices here I think much better than Wisconsin. There are 2 FMAS frag swaps and other frags swaps as well. there is a south florida frag swap page on facebook. LFS in P Pines include beverleys and all pets for dry goods and decent fish. coral kingdom for corals has great deals and a good coral selection but very little else.

Thanks for the info!

Beverleys and All Pets have decent rodi? I havent purchased a RODI maker yet.

Is the broward area a chloramine city? We are up here.

Fmas facebook pg....fmas classifieds page .....and here

once we get settled i want to invest in a BRS 6 stage with a chloramine block, but I have been buying it so far. Dont use a ton of water on a 29g tank.

Elite Marine south of Copans hands down. Incredibly helpful and informative from one of the best and oldest in the industry, Lance Ichinotsubo. They quarantine their fish and make sure you're getting a healthy fish. I don't work for them or have any affiliation with them but they are my go to place for everything. They have a great live stock selection.

Another great selection is Reef Addiction in Coral Springs, great guys and love their livestock. You can tell they are passionate about the hobby.

Reef life aquatics I have been going to him on the weekend. And he has nice things and great on the price:fish1::fish1::fish1:
