Brown Algae/Flesh

I have noticed that on occassion if I move an Acro from one spot to another it will get a brown type of algae or tissue on the flesh. I have noticed that even in direct flow it still accumulates but when I move it to a lower flow area it goes away.

What is this? And why does it do it only on things like a Setosia or Frog Skin?

It means there is too much direct flow on the coral.
