Brown Algae?

Ok, so i finished my second treatment. I was actually supposed to do a water change saturday night based on the instructions. I didnt have time and i didnt have water ready. I made water yesterday and will be doing the water change tonight. I am experiencing no ill effects. The Cyano seems to be gone both from the rocks and the sand. Saturday night since i didnt have time to do the water change i turned on my skimmer and have been skimming more wet than normal, i also turned on my carbon reactor. Pods, and harlequin shrimp are doing fine. Polyp extension is normal.

I did not make a dent in the brown slime algae in my attached frag tank though. Not really sure what to say about that. Maybe its dinoflaggelates?

I have been having no luck whatsoever. I did two water changes over the past 3 days after I treated. Woke up this morning to find the head of my featherduster floating around. Hoping when I get home from work things look better. Fingers crossed.

i too am having this problem. it came out of nowhere. what is weird is that
1) this brown alage is growing on my overflow box.
2) and some on my sps ( which killed the parts it grew on )

nothing else. weird....
my tailspot blenny is eating it. but not off the SPS.. damage is done there.

Yes it seems like whatever it touches in my frag tank it smothers and kills. I will most likely remove all the frags in there and dip them and keep them in a holding tank while i drain the frag tank and scrub it down.
