how long does it usually take your corals especially the wild ones to come in and go from colorful to brown back to color again. Some of mine have taken months to acclimate and bring back and sometimes in different shades of color?

It depends on vat Coral it is. A. Millepora can teack a longer time to Get colors back. Efflorencise and some deepwater acro are more sensitiv to depp and cemical chainche in a water .

I have an Acropora Solitaryensis (imported as Efflorescens). It took about 10 months before the colony got the blue color on the tips back (and that's mainly because it grow so f-ing slow). It lost it's colors after an AEFW attack. I had to frag the coral and dip it several times over a long period.

Here's a picture of it from July 2011. You can spot some blue in the tips.

yeah looks great life at its best love when they come back stronger than before that is why the best corals are the ones that have been raised by other reefers..the can take the water change..
