Brown playing algae

I have this algae that’s starting to take over the tank. It’s starting to spread on glass and live rocks.
It looks like montipora.
I am currently on an upgrade and will be using all of my live rock. I am planning on scraping every single piece of LR.
How can i prevent on transferring this over to the new tank?

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

In a large container mix 50% peroxide/50% old tank water.. A lower ratio of peroxide will be ok (25% or so) ...
Soak rocks in it for 10-15 minutes while you scrub them with a toothbrush/brush..

Then simply rinse them off with some RO water..

The rocks will be nice and white and all of the algae "should" be dead/gone.. Note: some algae may still remain.. but should be dead/die off

Then you can immediately start to cycle/cure the rocks

You truly a Mcgyver. I’ve read another post where one used it at a much lower dose with corals attached to the rock. He used tank water as well for rinsing then put the rock back in the tank.
Killed the bryopsis but spared the corals.

I just use regular 3% hydrogen peroxide available at any drug store/grocery store..

and yes its possible to use it on rocks with corals without killing the corals.. just a few minutes/lower strength,etc....
You can even just spot treat and try to avoid getting it on the corals if needed..

Just a word of caution, as I have used peroxide many times with good success. However, not too long ago a nuked my tank because I returned a piece of rock without adequately cleaning off the residue from a dip and scrub, and I screwed up even further by not addressing it right away thinking it would get filtered out.
Totally my fault, just feeling too lazy, distracted, and rushed all at the same time doing maintenance and getting ready to work on the road the following day.
Anyway, lesson learned. The peroxide works very well, but requires careful attention.

Thanks. My plan is to mix a 25/75 peroxide tank water in a bucket. I will dip the LR one by one after I have scraped it, for 8 minutes at a time. Then leave them in another bucket with tank water for about 1/2 hour. Then place them in my new tank with newly mixed saltwater.

Have you tried putting the live rock in a bucket with a power head and then covering it for 3 days, work great for me.
