Brown ring of slime around anemone... normal?

Hey Gang,

So I have my first LTA in my tank and all seems to be going well. After the 2nd day I guess it found a spot it liked and hasn't moved since. It's been stationary for about three weeks now.

One thing that I noticed was that it seems to have a ring of brown slimy stuff around it's body at the midway point. I'm guessing it's waste of some sort? Anyway, I wasn't sure if that was normal or if I should try to remove it. It does sort of detract from the creatures appearance so if it won't hurt anything I'd prefer to clean it up a bit.

Generally with good water circulation and generally good water conditions those rings aren't present. Pics and info. about your system might be useful here.
