brown Scopas tang weird Black patches

The fish is a clown triggerfish i thought it made sense since they have thick skin like sharks and sharks don't get ich

i know that sharks don't get ich for sure because all my fish got ich except my lionfish and my banded cat shark

I believe that the lion fish didn't show ich was because they can "shed" their skin like scorpion fish. The parasite could have affected both the fish, but are in the gills of the lion and sharks. If you want to remove the parasite then try to invest or make a fish trap. That way you can catch you fish and Qt them and keep your tank fallow. They may look healthy but a large out break may destroy your tank live stock. This is true for your scopas tang as you said that you did a FW dip and after he looked healthy. This means you relieved s/he of the parasite for a short term. It is still infecting the fish, but not to the naked eye. Now you may follow my advice or not, but this is up to you!

If I catch all my fish can I keep them in a 29 biocube to leave my dt fallow or do I need to invest into a bigger qt

Not to state the obvious, but you'll still have to treat your fish in QT with copper, DP, or tank transfer method. Otherwise, you'll just be reintroducing ich into your fallow tank.

You may not see it for a long time, until there's a hiccup in your system (i.e., you introduce a new fish, your heater quits, or something goes haywire with your parameters). Take it from me, the recurrence of ich under those circumstances can be fast and brutal.

This.

leave your DT fallow for 72 days in order to rid the ich that would be in your DT

I have heard that triggers are immune to ich is that true or is that a lie

a trigger fish will a healthy diet will be able to defend them selfs from ich on their body but not their gills. this will stress them out and they will not eat properly and then become unhealthy and the ich will become visable on their body.

So far so good no spots or signs of ich but i am still treating my tank with NLS ICK SHIELD
my fish love it i will feed it for 21-30 days the clownfish scales fully healed
