Brown Slime?? If So How To Frag Torch?

I'm thinking the one part of my torch coral has brown slime disease. My trumpet, zoos, mushrooms, and polyps are all fine. The torch coral has only been in the tank a few days. If it does have brown slime disease I need to frag it to remove the affected section. Can somebody draw a line on the picture to show exactly how to cut it? I've never fragged a hard coral before. Can I use a hacksaw or should I go buy a dremel?

Its defiantly brown slime as I can see it coming off. I fragged it down towards the bottom and stuck the good half back in the tank. I'm dipping the fragged infected section thats infected in melfix and will keep it in a seperate container to see if it improves.
