I just went well, two weeks ago I had a half day at work and decided to go to one of the LFS. Happend to be wanting a royal gramma and saw one of these guys! And for 10 bucks couldn't pass it up it is a Hawaiin brown slipper lobster and they are wild! He ate his fill of silversides with the snowflake eel....yes they eat together. Then buried himself in the sand. He hasn't knocked over any corals or rocks as they say they are "bulldozers" he seems to be pretty mild. Just thought I would share. I love these guys!

Here yah go! Finally got a pic of it.

They are pretty easy to keep. I have heard that they become "bulldozers" though when they get big. So far I have had no problems with him knocking corals and such over. Guess I will have to wait and see what the little bugger turns into. LOL

Well he's finally molting! He became very pale at the tail end and this morning I was watching him climb out the back of the shell. He didn't really grow that much about another inch or so. He is hiding now from the snowflake is my guess but he (the eel) is well fed and ate last night so no worries.

I do need a name for him if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to name the lobster!
