Brown Spots

I have a Pink Tip Anemone that is getting brown spots on his tenticles. I have had this guy for about three months or more and have had not problems. The spots started to appear after a small amonia spike due to filtration problems and have grown since. It seems to be getting worse slowly, but is not bad now. Any one know what this may be? I was thinking something stress related? Is this something to worry about?

Pics? It could be zooxanthellae.

Here is a picture of this guy. The dark spots are colonies of small brown spots that are vivible all over this thing.

It sounds like it could be zooanthelae to me, I had something similar happen with one of my BTAs

Actually, assuming it's zooxanthellae colonizing--and it probably is--then that is a good thing. This is an algae that lives in the tissue and provides a significant amount of nutrition to the anemone.

Also when did you change you light bulbs last?
