Brown vs Black hinge question

Hi Roger,

When did the brown hinges/hangers for the streams stop production? I ask because I recently bought a used 6000 and the seller said it was just a few months old, but it came with the brown mounting parts. I purchased a couple of these streams back in February from the same store and mine have black mounting hardware.

Also, is there any numbers I can give you from the unit to tell its production date? It works great, however I just want to figure out how much warranty is left.

There are 3 numbers stamped into the plastic on the pump right under the hanger at the back. That is a date code, tell me what you find and I'll decode it for you. The color of everything was switched to black so once the brown parts ran out that was it. That change occured almost a year ago. Honestly, I can't imagine a brown hanger set is anything less than 6 months old, 9 is more likely. For the first few months some black pumps came with brown hardware.
