have a decent sized Green montipora and its been browning out. it still has a white rim likes its growing and has visible signs of new growth. the small polyps of it are still super green but the area between polyps is a shade of brown. when i bought it it was a beautiful green like normal green monti caps. its under two 250w 14k mh bulbs.lights are 10-12" above water and monti is about 8" below surface of water. medium flow. all other sps are thriving included a red monti. below is my test results as of yesterday eve.
i would like to know what possibilities are making my monti a drab brown. thanks in advance for your knowledgeable input. i appreciate your guys' time.

i have had it in my tank for about 2 months now. it started browning out a week after putting it into the tank i raised and lowered it and more flow, less flow. all the same:sad1:

PO4 may be causing it. I had the same problem with some that I had in my tank (and it is doing great) but I sold it to a local LFS and it all browned and eventually died. Of course their tank had several other issues as well but high PO4 is a common factor is your and their tanks.
