browser setup help

Ok totally confused I have my controller setup to my home internet. But I would like to control it when im in a diffrent state. Im at the dyndns site and read the manual just confused.

or maybe I should say how Do i setup a dysdns host so I can connect to my apex on a diffrent internet connection

ok think I got it idk though how can I test it?

Use a smartphone in cellular data mode (not WiFi), call or visit a neighbor or friend and have them test the URL, or PM me the URL and I'll test for you.

nvm whatever I did did not work had to uninstall the dyndns updater would not let me log into my apex.

so far made an account with them and a host name. what ip address should I use the one that they say or is there a specific one?

On the DynDNS host page, there will be a small blue hyperlink near the IP address field;it says soemthing about your current address being xx.xx.xx.xx. Click on that link and it will populate the IP address field for you with your router's public IP address.

Got it!! thanks russ works great wow this controller is easy to hook up programmed, on internet, and able to access it in georgia lol had my cousin try it out. All in less than 3 hrs lol.
