brs 1.1ml dosing pump

I am debating on using this as my autotopoff QT pump.. anyone see an issue here?

What is your evaporation rate? Anything over about .4 gallons/day and that pump can't keep up. I lose 3+ gallons a day and a 1.1 ml pump could never keep up.

What Gary said. I have 4 of them in use as dosing pumps and they do affine job at that. There are better options out there if you need more volume.

I should have added that I use Cole Parmer for my ato.

For QT I just keep a gallon container of RO/DI water to added daily to my TTM tanks when I get new fish. I use 5 gallon tanks for that.

I have a Tunze Osmolator 3155 when I put fish in to a 30 gallon QT

yeah I wont use that.. i'll go with my FT 70 pump.. thx all..

I added an ATO to my QT just in case I go with Hyposalinity.. I have the new hana salinity also.. so accurate I love it.. will come in handy if i need to keep stable salinity at 1.009

I would agree with only adjusting the partial change water. Not adding salt to top off water. Have the PC water at just what you are looking to achieve . With 10 percent weekly it will slowly raise to 1.025. Slow change is always better.
