BRS Dry Rock

Has anyone had experience with the BRS Pukani, or Reef Saver rock? How many pounds of either one to get a nice 'scape in a 40B?

Forrest

I used both in my 120g. I like the Pukani best. Much less dense, more nooks and crannies. If I did it again, I'd get all Pukani. Although it's more $$, you don't need as many pounds.

I used a total of about 75 lbs in my tank. 44 RSR, 25 Pukani.

If your interested in liverock I'm going to be parting my stuff out. One medium size cerameco arch, and two pillars that were done really well that have a ton of really great coralline on it as well as a bunch of sponges and maybe I can make you a deal on the one with my large rbta that's hosting a bunch of sexy shrimp.

If you still have it by the time I paint, set up, buy lighting, and cycle my tank I'd definitely be interested, lol. I'm trying to find the time just to paint the damn thing at the moment :headwallblue:

So, John, do you think 25 pounds of the Pukani would be enough for a 40B

IMO less is more in the DT. If you need rock for filtration I would get some of those flat slabs or round balls for the sump
