I LOLed a bit... but I think muffe is right on this one.. I guess you could also add a small ball valve to regulate the amount of water into the BRS reactor.
Depending on how your return is setup will dictate what pieces you need to plumb it in. Mine is solid PVC and I plumbed in a manifold with 3 ball valves to use for this type of thing. One for the reactors which is running currently and two others for other things in the future like a chiller, free hose to blast off rocks, etc.
A Y with a ball valve after the Y on the return to the tank, the BRS has a little valve with their setups you could use if it was too much thru the reactor. Doubtful it would be but you never know until you try it.
