BRS group buy

I need to order some supplies from BRS and figured I would try to get a group buy going, If you are interested I believe you can just pm me your BRS login email address so I can fill out the form and email them. I am thinking of setting it up for either this coming tuesday April 6th or the following tuesday depending on interest. If someone already has one planned that I can hop in on that would be good too. :dance:

Im in!! after talking to Tom there's a few things I need to try out.

You just have to make an account with BRS and Ill sign your email up for the group buy, and whichever day we decide to start the buy, BRS will email saying the buy is open and it will remain open for those who are signed up for one week. Im also gonna post this to the southern tier reef society so hopefully we can get this going.

Once I sign us up for the buy, BRS will email each of us individually when the buy begins then you will individually log into BRS with your login and purchase what you need. The "group Buy" basically is just a nice discount they give for clubs or groups to purchase at one time. Hopefully we will get enough people to join in, it takes 10, and so far we have 3-4.

I believe you can do it as often as you like, as long as there are at least 10 participants and I only nee the email address you use to log in to BRS. I email the group buy form with everyones email that they use for BRS and when the buy opens they will send an email notifying us that the buy has started, you can then login and make your purchases at a discount, pay on your own, and have the items shipped to you.

I am not entirely sure what is or isnt discounted but I believe they give you the highest discount rate IE.. if you buy a huge bulk of something they give a discount that grows with the size of the order which tops out at like 15-99 units or something like that. BRS has more info on their site if you want to delve further. I am going to be setting this up tomorrow to start on tuesday the 6th, if that changes I will send everyone an email as well as posting it here.
