BRS peristaltic dosers- change the tubes?

Anyone have any opinion or experience with these failing? I would prefer to not wait to change the tubes on failure. Anyone have any suggestions on when to change them out? I know it depends on usage. I have the higher capacity one dosing RODI about 1.2 gallons per day and the slower ones dosing 250ish ml of 2 part per day.

i usually replace mine after a few years. Usually you can tell because air gets into the line, and other than playing around with it, its just easier to buy new ones. Just make sure you lube them up when you replace them.

You mean lube the tube as in where the rollers interact right? What kind of lube do you use?
