This tank is an upgrade from a 30 cube 24x24x14. A friend of mine had to sell this tank and there was no way that I was going to let it get away. My friend say I never take enough pics. I just get wrapped up in into what I am doing and forget. I forgot to take pics of me building the stand. It is made out of 2x6's the main beams are 2 2x6's with 1/2 plywood between them. I also made a drip tray under the sump that 3 1/4 deep so If I spill it will
hold a good amount of water

On to some pics Some of you may recognize this tank and hood I bought it from triggerfish how had a build thread on here I kept the hood but replaced the stand. He had all his equipment outside I could not do this in my current application.

Here is a pic of my old tank

I wanted to go for a real clean look so I came up with Idea of covering the underside of my stand to hide all the wires. My friends CMcNeil (Chris) and Kubi (Paul) came over to help me

Bruce is such a neat freak,we spent like 3-4 hours just covering the wires with the Trovicel(foam cored PVC sheet).now all he has showing is like 3 wires and a couple of plumbing pipes.the night shot of the stand lights looks cool, nice and bright

Hiding wires is nice until you have to pull something out for maintenance :) Thats when you ask yourself, why did I do it like this hahahhaa
