Bryopsis in grow out tank

I have bryopsis in my small grow out tank. I'm dealling with the bryopsis on the few pices of LR I have, but if I take a wire brush and scrape the stuff off on the rubble I have my frags on, is it likely to remopve it or has it seeded itself into the rock already?

Scraping it off with any brush will not work. It will just keep growing back. I wasted six months trying that technique. What worked for me was keeping the LR in the dark for an extended period. This may not work for you since you have a piece of frag. on the LR.
